The Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund provided $5,500.00 to the Brisbane Netball Association Inc. for the development of a website and the purchase of a networked computer system to facilitate communication for members of the Association and the local community. The Gambling Community Benefit Fund improves the lives of Queenslanders through investing in Queensland's communities.

 | CHANGE TO SCHWEPPES CHALLENGE OPEN TRIALS
The Schweppes Challenge trials for the open team are now being held on Sunday 5th Feb (same date) from 2.00-5.00pm (new time) in conjunction with the Under 16 and Under 19 trials. These trials are to be held at St Pauls School Sports Centre. Late nominations will be accepted for these trials.
SCHWEPPES CHALLENGE & JUNIOR REP TEAM TRIALS
Trials will be held as follows -
SCHWEPPES CHALLENGE
Sunday 5th Feb 2-5PM Opens (note time change).
Sunday 5th Feb 2-5pm Under 19 and 16.
Schweppes Challenge trials to be held at St Pauls School Sports Centre, Bald Hills.
JUNIOR REP
Saturday 11th Feb - Under 12 8-11am, Under 13 2-5pm at Wavell State High School PE Centre.
Sunday 12th Feb - Under 14 8-11am, Under 15 2-5pm at Wavell State High School PE Centre.
MONDAY 6TH FEB - UNDER 16 & 17 AT BNA COURTS 6.30-8pm.

Vince De Gregorio, the BNA Grounds Convenor, is seeking assistance from members for a working bee to be held on Saturday, 4th February.
Vince will be on site from 7.00am and would be grateful for any help provided. Jobs to be done include mowing, whipper snipping, weed eradication, ant eradication, minor landscaping etc. Contributions large and small are all welcome.
If you can help, please let Vince know when you’ll be available and what tools/man toys you will be able to bring with you.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations to Mazlin Latimore for being selected in the Queensland Under 17's State Representative Team. Maz has represented Brisbane Netball Association every year at the highest level since she was 12. Last year Maz was selected as the youngest player in the open BNA premier league team at the tender age of 16. As part of the Queensland team, Maz will compete in the National Championships in Tasmania in April.
Congratulations to Jessica Price for being selected through to phase 2 of the state trials. Jess was selected as one of 30 players from a total 144 from across the state that trialed to make it through to this stage which is a tremendous achievement. Furthering her success, Jess has just been named in the 2012 Kedron Wavell Cougars State League squad for 2012.
Last year Jess was our association's Junior Representative Co-Captain.
