WINTER
SEASON CONCLUDES WITH GRAND FINAL DAY ON SATURDAY 28 AUGUST 2010
Well,
the finals are nearly upon us and soon the Winter Season will be over. It has been a really different winter
season this year with all the big breaks for holidays and long weekends but
hopefully you have still enjoyed it!!
Well
Done!! to all of our players for representing Kedron Lions Netball Club so
well throughout the season and congratulations to all involved with those teams
who will be playing in finals!! We
wish you the very best of luck.
ONE
FINAL REMINDER!!! Our last Club duty for Winter Season is
Canteen Duty on Grand Final Day. It
would be great to see as many of you as possible give up some time on that
day (please, just an hour or so) to ensure that Grand Final day runs
smoothly for Robyn Black, who does
a wonderful job organising our rosters throughout the season. Please let Robyn know if you are
available to assist in the Canteen on that day. Her contact details are

WINTER
SEASON TROPHY DAY
has been set down for Sunday, 10 October 2010 so please note that
date in your diary. We are still
finalising the venue and the format but we look likely to be having the
presentation earlier in the day than in past years - perhaps even much
earlier, just to change things up a little! More information available
soon!
SUMMER
SEASON COMMENCES ON WEDNESDAY, 6 OCTOBER 2010.
Summer
Season Sign-on will
be held at Brisbane Netball Association on Sunday, 22 August 2010, 9.30am to
11am.

Current
players - if you are
unable or do not wish to attend sign on,
you may hand your completed form to your coach or to Debbie Mackay,
Michele Rutter, Dianne March, Susan Leader or Robyn Black prior to sign on day. You may also

New
players - please attend
sign on. All new signings
will be placed on our waiting list and the Club will try to accommodate all
those who wish to play with Kedron Lions, but priority will be given to
returning players as well as those individuals or families who are willing to
provide assistance by coaching or umpiring. However, if you cannot attend sign on,
please post your complete form to the postal address above. New junior players (from U 11 to U 16) will need to
provide a photocopy of birth certificate or passport as BNA requires proof of
age. If your child has recently
completed Nippers at BNA proof of age should not be
required.
NB: it is essential that all forms are
received by 31 August 2010

FEES FOR SUMMER SEASON
U11,
U12 & U14 Winter 2010 Player $110 New
Player $140
U16 & Seniors Winter 2010 Player
$140 New Player $170

A
family discount of $10 per player for second and subsequent children is
available.

We
will continue to offer an incentive for those players/parents who offer to coach. A 50% reduction in fees (for yourself
or your child/one of your children) will apply for those people who take on a
coaching role. ** Please note that all coaches must attain a
minimum standard of accreditation for insurance purposes ** If you are willing to coach for Kedron
Lions and need to complete a course to gain accreditation, initially the Club
will pay half the cost of the required course and you will be required to pay
the other half. Upon completion
of three seasons of coaching for Kedron Lions, the Club will reimburse you for
your portion of the cost.
UNIFORMS
All
new uniform orders need to be placed at sign on with a 20% deposit
paid.
The
playing shirt can only be bought from the Club. Royal Blue skirts are also
available from the club or you may choose to purchase a skirt from a department
or sporting store.
