What is Woolworths NetSetGO?

BNA Woolworths NetSetGO is a fun, safe, social and active program primarily for girls and boys born in 2016-2019. It gives children the chance to lean the netty basics and helps kids gain confidence, get active and make friends in a safe and inclusive environment.

Players "new to netball" born in 2015 or 2014 are also welcomed to register if the player does not wish to register and play in our Moddies (non-competitive weekly games) or Juniors (competitive weekly fixtures) age divisions in our 2024 Winter Day Season competition.

At BNA, our Woolworths NetSetGO program is divided into tiers; Net  (players born 2019 or 2018) and Set (players born 2017 to 2014)  meaning that participants develop skills at a pace that's right for their age and ability.

Each session will be led by a trained coach, using modified equipment.

What Tier is Right for My Child?

The tiers, Net and Set are offered by BNA in its Woolworths NetSetGO program.

  • Net is for players born in 2019 or 2018 and is where it all begins.  Net puts the fun in fundamental motor skills through activities and games.

  • Set is for players born 2017 or 2016 and is all about practising netball skills and playing modified games using a smaller ball perfect for growing hands.

*Players born in 2015 and 2014 that are new to netball and happy to join in with 7 and 8 year olds in this porgram are also welcome to register and partiipate.

What Will My Child Learn?

  • Correct landing
  • Pivoting
  • Change of Direction
  • Passing and Catching
  • Netball Positions
  • Using Space
  • Teamwork
