Due to a change in ruling by Netball Qld, we can nominate three teams per age group for Senior Stage Age. Currently due to Junior State Age being a travelling Carnival, BNA will only look to send a maximum of two teams each for U12, U13 and U14.

Senior State Age Championship

We will select three teams in each of the U15, U16 and U17/18 years age groups who will compete in the Senior State Age Championships, dependent on sufficient nominations of required calibre.  This will be held from 1 – 4 April 2023 at Sunshine Coast Netball Association.

For all non-travelling events you will be required to arrange your own transport to and from the venue each day. You are required to be present throughout the event and will be responsible for the care of the players in your team. Each of our Senior representative teams will also compete in local rep carnivals throughout the year culminating in State Age in April 2023.

GBNL

The Greater Brisbane Netball League (GBNL) began in 2021, replacing the Queensland Premier League Zone 6 competition.

It is managed by netball associations for both association and university players and caters for players turning 16 or older in the year of Competition and includes 16 years, 18 years, 23 years and Opens groups.

GBNL teams may be selected in the Open, 23 years, 18 years, and 16 years age groups.

Junior State Age Championship

We will select two teams in each of the 12 to 14 years age groups who will compete in the State Age Championships.  This will be held from 24 – 27 June 2023 at Townsville Netball Association.
