The first stage of the accreditation process is to complete a Foundation coaching course. The general principles component of this course is completed online through the Australian Sports Commission website. There is also a sport-specific component of this course, which is a four-hour session run through Netball Queensland. See the Netball Queensland website for more details in regards to when these courses are held.
If you are interested in gaining a higher level of coaching accreditation you can then progress through and complete the Development, Intermediate, Advanced, Elite, and High Performance levels of accreditation.

You are required to update your coaching accreditation and to keep a logbook for this purpose. See the Netball Australia website for details as to what is required in order to update/maintain your accreditation.
For all coaching
courses (not including online courses), participants need to register and pay
directly to Netball Queensland. You are welcome to participate in any of the
courses listed on the Netball Queensland website - http://qld.netball.com.au/ <Play Netball, Coaches,
Coaching Accreditation> Click on the link provided at the bottom of each
list of courses.
There is no minimum age for the Foundation Course, however participants must be
a minimum of 15 years of age and a current member of Netball Queensland upon completion for the Development course, a minimum of 16 years for the Intermediate, Advanced and Elite courses, and a minimum of 17 years for the High Performance course. Course fee must be made at time of booking. Course Fees will not be
refunded after the closing date unless approved by Netball
Queensland.
